Sponsor a Child

HART's HOPE

Sponsor a precious child in Haiti through HART's H.O.P.E.: The Little Brothers and Sisters of Jesus, a new H.A.R.T initiative, under the direction of Fr. Louis, a graduate of Franciscan University, and Sr. Nathalie, trained by St. Mother Teresa's Missionaries of Charity. Starting with fifty children between the ages of 5 - 12, Fr. Louis and Sr. Nathalie will run the program six days a week at St. Anne Parish in Anse-a-Veau.

The pillars of the program are:

• Spiritual ~ to become disciples of Jesus
• Social ~ to practice virtuous behavior so to develop the habits of doing good
• Intellectual ~ to enhance academic performance
• Nutritional/medical ~ to provide healthy meals and medical care

The Little Brothers and Sisters of Jesus is a relational ministry in which the children experience the love of God through mentors, tutors, and sponsors. As the role of the family is critical to the development of children, parents meet weekly with the directors and mentors.

Sponsorship Options

• Full sponsorship per child ~ $75/month
• Team sponsorship ~ $25/month or $50/month
• Minimum one-year commitment

As a sponsor you will receive an annual progress report and photo of your sponsored child, and letters from your child. To build a relationship with your child, you are encouraged to write letters, pray for your child, and ask your child to pray for you.
