1. General Donations
This is our General Donation section. If you would like to support HART and would like us to decide what program needs the most attention at the time of your donation, please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
2. Medical Trips
Since 2010, medical trips have been the heartthrob of our ministry.
Hundreds of medical professionals have raised their hands to dedicate their time and skills to serve the desperate in Haiti and now the Dominican Republic. We have not been able to travel to Haiti in a few years for the safety of our volunteers. We visit the poorest regions where medical treatment is not available and have provided medical and dental treatment for more than 25,000 Haitians through the years. If you would like more info on participating in a medical trip to Haiti/Dominican Republic, please fill out the form on the contact page of the website. Or to donate, please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
3. HART'S HOPE (The Little Brothers and Sisters of Jesus)
Sponsor a Child
Haiti Orphan Prevention Effort (HOPE) brings HOPE for Haiti’s future by nurturing vulnerable children and supporting their families - preventing them from becoming “poverty orphans”. Tragically 80% of the 30,000 plus children in Haitian Orphanages, are left there because their families cannot afford to feed them. Consider sponsoring one of HART's HOPE children. Even a one time donation is appreciated. Please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
4. Send a Young Christian to Trade School
Can you imagine if teenagers in Haiti had real hope for a future? In 2021, we asked Father Roosevelt how best to help St. Jude in a way that would reap real and ongoing benefits. His response: “Do not let the dreams of the young people die. Otherwise, their lights slowly dim, until they are extinguished, and they too end up in food lines.” So we are sending the most promising teens and young adults from this poor community to trade school to study from among these needed areas: agriculture, clothing production, computer science, engineering, education, and nursing. Please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
5. The "Feed My People" Program
Every month, HART has sent $3000 worth of food and water because of your kind donations to the St. Jude and St. Anne parishes. We send beans and rice, wheat, corn, cooking oil, tomato sauce, pasta, and two to three trucks full of water up the mountain to St. Jude and down the coast to St. Anne. Each month, 600-1000 people, the poorest of the poor, are fed in both parishes. Father Roosevelt and Father Louis both tell us that this Christ centered ministry has made the Church a beacon of hope for the people. They tell us at this juncture in Haiti's history, feeding the hungry is the best way for the Body of Christ to spread the Good News. Please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
6. The HART of Jesus Medical Clinic
HART started a year round medical clinic in Haiti! The clinic operates five to six weekdays per month. The HART of Jesus Medical Clinic, at St. Jude's Parish, is located on a remote mountain where NO medical services are available.
HART has recruited a Haitian medical team, led by Dr. Pierre. The team includes Dr. Pierre, two nurses, one mid wife and two assistants. Because of your generous support, Dr. Pierre is able to care for patients at no cost to them. (Families in this area earn less than $150 per year.) The clinic sees over 200 patients per month and those numbers are increasing. Please click the Donate button below and follow the prompts. THANK YOU for your kindness and generosity. |
