HART'S HEROES
Bernadette and Eric Lindquist
St. Francis prayed for God to make him a, “channel of His peace.”
He also prayed, “where there is despair, let me sow hope.” The Linquists live this prayer! When our friends in Haiti suffer, the Lindquist Family feels their pain, and without calling attention to themselves, they respond in love. They have traveled to Haiti with HART on mission (Eric was officially our oldest HART missionary…and yet, the most cheerful and grateful)! |
Chris Dunsky
Not every HART hero has been to Haiti, like “SUPER HART HERO” CHRIS DUNSKY.
Chris has been one of the most powerful proponents of HART from the very beginning in 2010. He was asked to supply legal advice and wisdom by Father Muma - the priest who envisioned HART. Chris not only said yes, but has remained at the helm of the HART organization ever since. Chris drafted documents enabling HART to be a legal charity - and in 2012, HART was recognized as such by the United States Government. |
Jeff Meyers
A few years ago, Jeff Meyers was asked if he would join our HART Board to help us organize and direct our organization as an attorney, and for his wisdom.
He accepted, and HART received a treasure in Jeff. He quickly chose to join us on a mission trip to Haiti and ended up being a co-leader, using his great administrative skills. |
David Kowalski

David Kowalski did NOT want to join HART’S mission trip to Haiti.
He had many reasons to stay home.
But his wife, Angie, begged him.
Being a great husband, Dave finally said yes.
While visiting Mother Teresa’s Orphanage in Haiti, Dave noticed several babies who needed oxygen.
However, 3 oxygen machines were unused, and were set aside against a wall.
Dave is good at fixing things - so he asked one of the nuns,
